Background

The song was first recorded in Los Angeles in May 2010, as a solo piece by Bilan, during recording sessions for his next studio album. However, when he was approached by his record label about releasing the track as a single, he discussed that he recently discovered the work of American vocalist Anastacia, and asked if she could work with him to record a vocal for the song.[2] After approaching Anastacia, who agreed to record a vocal, Bilan and his record company made the decision to release the song exclusively in the Russian Federation. The duo performed the song live for the first time at the Muz-TV Music Awardsin Moscow in June 2010, and the song premiered on the radio just days later. The music video was released to YouTube on July 23, 2010, featuring scenes of Bilan and Anastacia performing in an apartment block together.[3] Subsequently, the single was released in Russia on August 2, 2010. Later, plans were announced for a full European release, however, these plans were scrapped for reasons unknown.[4] The song is due to appear on Bilan's next studio album, as well as Anastacia's forthcoming fifth studio album, where chronologically, it is the second single from it.
